A Northern Rhone style bend of Cinsault 85%, Grenache 7.5%, Pinotage 7.5% giving an aromatic, complex and succuent wine. The nose has prominent black fruit notes and red cherries, with hints of clove and cinnamon spice.
The dark fruits follow on to the palate, where there are hints of cloves, aniseed and black olive. There is good balance, with a freshness to fruit and a touch of oak on the lingering, smooth finish.
 
Pair with rich meat dishes, mature cheeses and game.
